Villager saves six baby owls

A villager found six baby birds on a path in the forest and sent them to a local wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center in Xiawen village, Xinche town, Dao county, Central China's Hunan province, chinanews.com reported on Wednesday.

The birds were identified by the center as eastern grass owls, a species of wildlife under second class state protection. They will stay in the wildlife center and as they grow up, will be trained to be independent and then released back into wild.
