Premier Li to attend SCO and China-CEE meetings
Premier Li Keqiang is to attend meetings under the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the China-Central and Eastern European Countries Leaders' Meeting on an eight-day trip next month, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang said on Friday.
Lu said Premier Li will start his journey next Wednesday when the premier officially visits Kyrgyzstan and then attends the 15th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the capital Bishkek before attending the 3rd China-Kazakhstan Prime Ministers' Regular Meeting in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Lu also said Premier Li will attend the 5th meeting of Heads of Government of China and Central and Eastern European Countries in Riga, the capital of Latvia.
After that, the premier will head for Saint Petersburg in Russia to attend the 21st China-Russia Prime Ministers' Regular Meeting with his counterpart Dmitry Medvedev.
