A 47-year-old Czech climber died near the summit of the Mt. Qomolangma, The Himalayan Times reported on Sunday.
According to the daily, the man who was not identified was a member of an international team. The Czech ambassador to India and Nepal, Hynek Kmonicek told Czech public radio.
"According to our information, the body is at around 8,300 meters and because of difficult access, weather conditions and other things, it has been decided not to bring down," Kmonicek said.
The climber died due to unspecified reasons two or three days ago, he added.
