Nets' Kidd uncertain to play Friday(AP)Updated: 2007-04-27 10:30 Jason Kidd missed the New Jersey Nets' practice Thursday because of a strained left knee and will be a gametime decision for Friday's third game of the playoffs against the Toronto Raptors. Kidd was hurt early in Game 2 while attempting to draw an offensive foul, but remained in the game and finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds in New Jersey's 89-83 loss. The best-of-seven series is tied 1-1. "He just bumped it and we just wanted to take precautions," coach Lawrence Frank said. Kidd attended a film session at the team's practice facility Thursday, but was then taken to New York to be examined by Nets team doctors. Kidd had microfracture surgery on his left knee in July 2004, causing him to miss the first 18 games of the 2004-2005 season. |
