Nov 5 marked the first anniversary of the establishment of the Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District, which is located in the coastal city of Xiamen, Fujian province.
In the past year, the Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District has achieved fruitful results in helping Xiamen create a complete industrial?ecosystem for the legal service industry, and build a market-oriented, law-based and internationalized business environment for global investors.
Adhering to the development strategy of "building a law-based business environment", Xiamen has beefed up efforts to develop itself into a highland for world-class legal services, and it has secured?remarkable?outcomes in the construction of the Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District.
According to official statistics, since its establishment in 2021, a total of 91 new legal institutions and projects had settled in Xiamen as of the end of October, bringing the total number to more than 800, which has accelerated the development of the city's legal service industry and its peripheral?industries.
Efforts have also been made to deepen comprehensive and integrated reform of the judicial system, aiming to promote social equality and justice. Xiamen also continues to focus on improving both online and offline public legal services to give market players and the public a greater sense of gain.
In the future, the Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District plans to act in accordance with the blueprint drawn by the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which concluded last month, and play its role in helping the country develop into a socialist country under the rule of law.
