The Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District in the Siming district in the coastal city of Xiamen, East China's Fujian province has seen fruitful results since it was established on Nov 5 last year.
In the past year, the?local government has leveraged its advantages in the development of the headquarters economy and software information industry, and created a sound business environment for legal institutions, aiming to develop itself into a demonstration area for the innovation and application of forensic?science and technology.
Since it was established in Siming on Nov 5 last year, the district has gathered?56 legal institutions, including 12 for intellectual?property?rights protection, and a number of influential legal institutions in Xiamen, such as the Xiamen Lawyers Association, and the Xiamen Notary?Association, which have helped Siming build a platform for the development of its legal industry.
Over the past year, Siming has developed a complete industrial chain for legal science and technology incubation, and legal talent training. It is now home to a legal science and technology incubation base, a talent training base, and a technology innovation base.
