Xia Mingjiu, deputy administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, led a delegation to Japan, the US, and Brazil from April 20 to 30.
The delegation visited the Japan Science and Technology Agency with which they signed a contract on talent exchange and science and technology communication.

The delegation visited the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Chinese Institute of Engineers, where they exchanged views on the 2018 China-US engineering technology seminar. The delegation also met with Stephen A. Orlins, president of the National Committee on United States-China Relations, and Howard P. Milstein, winner of the Marco Polo award.

The delegation went to Companhia Brasileira de Metalurgia e Minera??o in Brazil, and met with Pascoal J. P. Bordignon, winner of a Chinese Government Friendship Award. They also exchanged views on technological innovation with experts at the Federal University of Rio De Janeiro.
What we do
SAFEA is responsible for certifying foreign experts to work in the Chinese mainland and organizing overseas training for Chinese technical and managerial professionals.
