Scenic spot developments in Jiangxi perform well

Regulation and supervision in scenic spots will be reinforced through various measures including satellite monitoring, spot investigations and reports on line.

There are 4 world natural heritages, 6 national heritages, 12 national and 24 provincial scenic spots, covering an area of 5,257 square kilometers, covering 3.2 percent of the total area of Jiangxi. The number of national heritages is ranked first among all provinces in the country.

During the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period, famous scenic spots, cultural and history scenic spots and heritage sites will be rationally distributed in Jiangxi and the heritage protection and management system would gradually go into completion.

The development of scenic spots in Jiangxi province has performed well, said an official from the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau.

Scenic spots have developed into a sound system of resources and management. During the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period, three scenic spots were added on the list of world natural heritages, 6 were added into national heritages and one is a natural scenic spot.
