Meihu tourism night market opens

The Meihu tourism night market at the Qingyunpu district of Nanchang, Jiangxi province opened on July 8. Located at the Pa-ta-shan-jen square, the night market covers a 9,000-square-meter area, with a total investment of two million yuan ($314,200).

The new model night market includes five areas for characteristic food, stage performance, residents' activities, and carnival games. The night market starts business at 5pm and runs through to 2am the next day.

The food area will mainly feature snacks, including Jiangxi traditional snacks and other characteristic foods from various places, such as barbecue foods and beer. There will be artistic performances shown at the night market, according to local cultural authorities.
