Xinyu attends the 8th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair

Xinyu city participated in the 8th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair held from May 18 to May 21, 2012. Li Xuxian, member of the standing committee of the Xinyu municipal Party committee and minister of the Xinyu publicity department, visited the Xinyu exhibit area during the opening ceremony.

The Xinyu exhibit area contains four sections: "Xinyu Culture Industry Introduction", "Representative Painting and Calligraphy Works of Famous Artist Fu Baoshi", "Linen Embroidery in China", and "Tree Root Sculptures and Viewing Stones". Each displays the beautiful natural sceneries and rich tourism resources of Xinyu, as well as, the city’s long cultural history, abundant cultural resources and prosperous culture businesses and industries.

During the fair, the Xinyu exhibit area attracted more than 50,000 visitors with beautiful pictures, unique on-site linen embroidery performances and exquisite craft products. More than 5,000 copies of various promotional materials were distributed during the exhibition.
