Rape flowers will blossom in March in Wuyuan

In early March, the rapes begin to bloom in Wuyuan county of Shangrao, Jiangxi province. The ideal flower season to appreciate rape flowers is from March to May. During this time, various rape flower landscapes can be seen all over Wuyan.

The yellow rape flowers that scatter the fields will blossom in early March. From the middle of March, rapes in the Shengli region blossom in sequence. Flowers are seen overnight around houses, in the fields and on the hills. A sea of rape flowers makes the countryside a tranquil wonderland away from noise.

The bloom period of rape flowers in flat regions of Wuyuan come to an end in early April. Jiangling and Qingyuan of Wuyuan county, however, begin to see rape flowers come into bloom starting at this time.

Jiangling is a high-lying area and its climate changes a little later than that of the low-lying area. Qingyuan is a deep valley with a short duration of sunshine, giving rise to the blossom of rape flowers 20 days later. Due to the changing microclimate, rape flowers bloom at different periods in Jiangling and Qingyuan and people are able to see most varieties of the flower in these areas.

In Wuyuan, people will find that the best time to appreciate the different beautiful rape flower scenes are from March 1 to the end of April.
