Jiangxi celebrates record high tourism revenues with free tour

The first group of recipients of Jiangxi province’s free tourism initiative set off on Dec 13 during a ceremony in celebration of the province’s tourism sector exceeding 100 billion yuan in annual revenue.

Jiangxi Everbright International Travel Service launched the large tour group as a part of the province’s ticket-free tourism promotion scheme.

Jiang Jiang, general manager of Jiangxi Everbright International Travel Service, said his company has decided to offer free tourism services to 1,000 travelers during the one-month activity period. The promotion will cover all expenses for eating, lodging and transportation in the province. The ticket-free promotion aims to attract more tourists and cultivate winter tourism in the province.

Jiang was positive about the province’s 100 billion yuan revenue and said that the achievement has inspired tourism staff workers to work even harder.
