The Zhangjiagang History Museum, Jinfeng town branch, located in the Yangtze International Metallurgical Industrial Park, opened to the public in Zhangjiagang of Jiangsu province on November 16.

Nearly 400 people from the municipal government, Jinfeng town government and other industries attended the opening ceremony.

The history museum not only serves as a cultural museum and library, but also introduces history to the people.

The Jinfeng branch of the museum, after six-months of construction, became the first town-level history museum in Zhangjiagang.

More than 3,000 books have been collected in the museum, themed on Jinfeng information, Shashang culture, and Zhangjiagang history and geography.

An electronic reading area is set in the museum to provide a more convenient way for people to learn about the city.
