Check out the capital
Struggling for inspiration on what to do with your children over the holiday break? If they are aged 4 to 12 years old, you can take them to the Capital Museum to express their artistic flair.
Children can listen to stories about the history surrounding Mid-Autumn Festival and paint symbols of old Beijing, such as tu'er ye, the legendary rabbit. Two guides from the museum will also lead a tour.
Parents do not have to accompany their children, so it might be a good chance to enjoy the museum's fine art displays in peace and quiet.
Reserve tickets for the museum online first and then call to reserve a spot at the activity (maximum 15 children).
