Beijing mall Parkview Green celebrated the Earth Day on April 22. The event invited 100 participants to experience a low-carbon day that includes yoga practice, vegetarian food and biking activities.

Parkview Green is a complex building that includes offices, a shopping mall, an art center and a hotel. It recently became the first building in the Asia-Pacific region to win the LEED Dynamic Plaque given by the US Green Building Council, a nonprofit organization in Washington that promotes sustainability in buildings. LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is a rating system that encourages sustainable practices in the real estate industry.
