On May 12, International Nurses Day, a nonprofit by the name Sanjia Nurse Group Institute opened its office in Beijing.

Run by VODone Ltd, a Hong Kong-based company, the nonprofit will aim to help patients and the elderly. The same company has a smartphone application called Yihu365 that has been providing home-based professional nursing services since its launch in 2015. The services include injections and physical therapy.

So far, more than 5,000 registered nurses have provided various home-based services to people in need, most of whom are seniors, patients with chronic diseases and pregnant women.

Some 30 nurses from different hospitals across the country were also awarded for their good work during the Beijing conference hosted by VODone Ltd.
