【Part 2:
>'Sorry' is healthy
Sorry may be the hardest word – but scientists claim it could be one of the healthiest since it may help women live longer. Researchers have discovered that women who receive an apology for hurtful behavior suffer less stress and potential damage to their heart than those who don't. They also claim that the pulse of a wronged woman returns to normal 20% quicker after a well-timed "sorry" than without it.
>Older men more attractive
Older men stay attractive to women for at least a decade longer than they used to, a study has shown. A greater emphasis on dressing well and keeping fit has dramatically improved the physical attractiveness of older men, according to the findings. The trend towards women marrying and having children later in life has also extended the period for which a bachelor is considered eligible. Many women reported finding the greater financial security of older men reassuring because it represents a better life for their children.
>Men's household work ignored?
Men do far more housework than they are given credit for, according to research that claims women do not notice because their male partners "don't make a fuss". Men said they spent 13 hours a week on household chores including cleaning the lavatory, taking out the rubbish and changing the bed linen. But 60% of the 1,000 men questioned said their efforts were unnoticed by the woman in their lives because they did not like to mention it.
>Hairy chest affects virility
Men with hairy chests are less attractive to young women, a study at Turku University of Finland has found. Hairy men are more likely to have higher levels of the female hormone estrogen, which makes them more reliable, but in theory it could reduce their female partner's chances of becoming pregnant. But post-menopausal women prefer their men hairy.
>4 hinting styles women use
Experts have identified 4 hinting styles that women use to try to ensure their favored present is placed under the Christmas tree, which may save men a lot of stress of finding the perfect gift for their partner. Most women (56%) were found to be "pepper-hinters", who pepper conversation with mentions of preferred gifts, or "present pointers", who point out presents while shopping. Next comes women who use family and friends to drop verbal hints. Other women "accidentally" leave Christmas lists lying around. The problem is men are oblivious to the signals – 4 out of 5 miss the hints.
>Male modesty not appreciated
A research published in the journal "Psychology of Men and Masculinity" shows that "modest" males are less liked by women than "dominant males." Modesty is viewed as a sign of weakness, a low-status character trait for males that could affect their employability or earnings potential. Modesty in women, however, was not viewed negatively.
