Film 'Personal Tailor' premieres in Beijing

'No Man's Land' makes 220 million yuan at the box office

We Get Married, a hit TV drama starring Gao Yuanyuan and Huang Haibo, has become the most popular show on Youku, a widely watched video website in China.

The romantic series was released online on Nov 6, the same day as the show's premiere on television. It has been viewed 1 billion times on the website.

Youku has become a popular alternative to television, with 40 shows reading more than 100 million views. It produces its own content, too. In early December, the website launched the fifth edition of its young directors campaign, aiming to find more talents in the industry and help them launch their career.

In 2014, four top film industry professionals - American script instructor Robert Mckee, Hong Kong director Mabel Cheung, mainland writer Lu Wei and mainland director Gu Changwei - will tutor four young filmmakers to fulfill their directorial dreams.
