Ecuadorian embassy where WikiLeaks founder lives is no longer to be guarded

Metropolitan Police announced that police guards outside the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is staying, were removed on Monday.

The Australian WikiLeaks founder has been living in the embassy for 40 months since he sought refuge in June 2012 to avoid extradition to Sweden where he faces a rape allegation.
