At least 31 people were killed on May 22 when attackers ploughed two vehicles into an open-air market and threw explosives in Urumqi, capital of China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, AFP reported.
More than 90 people were also wounded when the vehicles drove into the crowd, the report quoted Tianshan web portal as saying.
China has witnessed a series of incidents targeting civilians?that authorities have blamed on separatists from the?Xinjiang region.
