Feb 8, 1931: Soviet Central Bureau issues a notice on land issues and anti-wealth policies
The notice said: It is the time now to fight for the victory of the national Soviet state. The purpose of the peasants to participate in the revolution is not only to obtain land use rights, but also to access land ownership. "Make the peasants keep their desire for land ownership". On Feb 27, Mao Zedong wrote to the Soviet Government of Jiangxi Province in the name of the director of the Central Revolutionary Military Commission of the General Political Department, fixing the farmers' land ownership. According to the No 9 announcement made by the Soviet Central Bureau and Mao Zedong's instructions, the Jiangxi Soviet Government publicized the announcement in March, "to supervise the allocation of land and announce land ownership", to solve the problem of farmers' land ownership. The land revolution of the Central Soviet Bureau was carried out widely.
Feb 8, 1957: The movement to increase production
On Feb 8, 1957, the Central Political Bureau adopted "the instruction on carrying out the movement to increase production and practice economy". The bureau's instruction stated: "In order to moderate the tension between the supply of materials and financial expenditures, and to make the economic front steer toward steady progress following the great march of 1956, we should made necessary adjustments in the scale and speed of construction in 1957 and make greater efforts to undertake the mass movement to increase production and economic growth throughout the country."
Feb 8, 2006: Suggestions on strengthening the work of the CPPCC
There are six items included in the "Suggestions" issued by the CPC Central Committee. They were: (a) that the cause of the CPPCC is an important part of socialism with Chinese characteristics; (b) to do a good job in CPPCC political consultation; (c) to actively promote the CPPCC's democratic supervision; (d) to develop the CPPCC's political participation; (e) to effectively enhance the self-construction of the CPPCC; and (f) to strengthen and improve Party leadership of the CPPCC. This was a programmatic document that guided the future development of the CPPCC.
