KUNMING - China Southern Airlines will connect Guangzhou, the country's southern business hub, with Frankfurt and New York in June and August respectively, according to the airline on Wednesday.
The Guangzhou-Frankfurt route via Changsha City in central China's Hunan province will be launched on June 23. An Airbus A330-200 aircraft will fly the route every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
The Guangzhou-New York route will be launched in August with a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, increasing the airline's presence in North America to three cities, along with Los Angeles and Vancouver.
China Southern Airlines is Asia's largest airline in fleet size with 575 aircraft. It connects China with 190 destinations in 40 countries.
