US-based i-level becomes member of China's taxi associationBy ()
Updated: 2007-04-16 16:48 US-based i-level Media Group Inc, a provider of digital media solutions for out-of-home advertising in China, said it has been granted executive membership status in China's national taxi association, the China Taxicab and Livery Association. In a statement, i-level said that as a member it will gain access to all of the association's more than 600 members that operate in and around China's taxi industry, including taxi operators, vehicle manufacturers, service providers, and government bodies. Both parties said they would cooperate to ensure that i-level's digital taxi media platform, the i-level Mobile Media Network, complies with all regulations governing the taxi industry and that it provides a digital media standard that can be used nationwide by members of the taxi association. i-level's proprietary technological platform consists of LCD displays mounted inside the passenger compartments of taxis.
