Featuring over 120 cultural artifacts from countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), including China, Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, the exhibition immerses visitors in the rich legacy of the ancient Silk Road.

The exhibition, running through March 31, is divided into four sections: Origin of the Silk Road, Land Silk Road, Maritime Silk Road, and Cultural Fusion. Showcasing traditional objects and costumes, the display celebrates the shared heritage of countries along both land and maritime trade routes.

Many of the items are collected from international students at Xi'an Jiaotong University. Lyu Qing, director of the university's archives and museum, remarked, "Eighty-four Chinese students and 25 international students contributed to this project, fostering strong friendships and enhancing cultural exchange under the BRI."

Notable Chinese contributions include intricately crafted Suzhou fans, symbolizing traditional Chinese artistry.

Other highlights include coins from Silk Road regions, digital collections, and Silk Road-inspired paintings by Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts students. The exhibition also features the Golden Ram's Horn, a gift from the President of Kazakhstan, underscoring the spirit of unity and shared history among counties involved in the BRI.
