Adam Klocek, a renowned Polish conductor and Grammy Award winner, conducted a New Year's concert delivered by the Polish Philharmonic Orchestra at the century-old Gengsu Theater in Nantong, Jiangsu province, on Dec 26.

The orchestra performed over 10 renowned classical music works from both Eastern and Western traditions. The Blue Danube Waltz, with its cheerful melody and beautiful harmony, transported audiences to the beautiful Danube River, allowing them to experience the infinite charm of music. Dance of the Golden Snake, meanwhile, showcased a unique rhythm and dynamic melody, portraying the distinctive charm of traditional Chinese culture.

Throughout the concert, a variety of musical works demonstrated the exchange and fusion of Eastern and Western cultures, earning rounds of applause and cheers from the audience.

The Polish Philharmonic Orchestra was established as a result of the long-term collaboration between two renowned orchestras in Poland. The history of the orchestra can be traced back to the period of World War II. Over the years, the orchestra has not only been well-received in Poland but has also frequently toured in various concert halls across Europe and Asia.
