As Beijing braces for the winter chill, Mexican restaurant chain Q Mex has teamed up with Texas-style barbecue Lao Fang's BBQ to offer a special menu designed to warm up the season.

Executive chefs Marcus Medina and Peter Zhang, who bring over 20 years of experience in Mexican cuisine and a deep appreciation for Chinese food culture, have reimagined traditional Mexican dishes. The result is a menu that combines authentic Mexican flavors with a twist to captivate the Chinese palate.

Among the standout items of the special menu are the Smoked BBQ Brisket Tacos, featuring 14-hour smoked American beef brisket infused with jujube wood, and complemented by jalapeno, cilantro, and red onions on a corn tortilla. Also featured are the Smoked BBQ Brisket Burrito and Smoked BBQ Brisket Platter, both showcasing the same slow-smoked brisket.

This exclusive menu is available in limited quantities every weekend at Q Mex Sanlitun branch and will run until Feb 2.
