State Grid Henan Power Transmission and Transformation Construction wins bid for Thailand transmission line general contracting project
On Aug 19, the State Grid Henan Power Transmission and Transformation Construction Co Ltd won the bid for the general contracting project of the 230 kV transmission line of the Lanshi Navanakong substation in Thailand. This is the second time that the company has won the bid for the Thailand transmission line general contracting project, following the 230 kV Kemin Buri Vatnaqong transmission line project and the 500 kV Thong Songkhla transmission line project in Thailand.
The 230 kV transmission line general contracting project of Lanshi Navanakong substation is located in Pathum Thani Province, northern Bangkok. The total length of the line is 17.3 kilometers, with four circuits installed on the same tower and 66 new iron towers built. The planned construction period is 21 months, which plays an important role in improving the reliability of power supply in Bangkok and its surrounding areas.
State Grid Henan Power Transmission and Transformation Construction Co Ltd has been exploring overseas markets since 1985 and has undertaken power transmission and transformation construction and maintenance projects in multiple countries, covering the entire field of power transmission and transformation construction.
In recent years, the company has actively implemented the initiative of jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative to promote continuous breakthroughs in international business. In 2019, the company passed the qualification review for general contracting of transmission lines with voltage levels of 115 kV and above by the State Electricity Authority of Thailand. It has undertaken the construction of two projects, the 230 kV Kemin Buri Vatnanakong transmission line project and the 500 kV Thong Son Kha transmission line project in Thailand. The company's high-quality performance has been highly praised and recognized by the State Electricity Authority of Thailand.
