Museum expo opens in Hohhot with over 400 exhibitors
The 10th Chinese Exposition of Museum and Relevant Products and Technologies began on Aug 23 in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and run until Aug 26.
Spanning an impressive 51,300 square meters, the event features 422 museums and 155 enterprises showcasing the latest in museum-related products and technologies.
The exposition is divided into several zones, including a digitalization display area, a children's educational experience zone, and three main exhibition halls. Hall One will host 81 museums and 45 enterprises, while Hall Two features 88 museums and 32 enterprises. Hall Three is the largest, with 226 museums and 78 enterprises participating.
In addition to the exhibits, the event includes various activities such as a stamp collection game, children's educational programs, and cultural performances. The "Night of the Expo" themed evening on Aug 23 will be a highlight of the event.
The exposition also features a series of academic seminars and public lectures, including discussions on museum accessibility, high-quality development, and the role of museums in fostering national unity. The event provides a platform for knowledge exchange and innovation in the museum industry.
