With just a few days left until the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games, the Chinese Paralympic swimming team is diligently preparing to showcase its skills at the event.
Swimming is renowned for its inclusivity among all Paralympic sports, allowing athletes of all levels to showcase their skills in the pool.
According to Wei Wei, head of the swimming program at the China Administration of Sports for Persons with Disabilities, 46 athletes and 8 coaches are gearing up for the upcoming Paralympic Games, representing the pinnacle of swimming prowess of the disabled.
At the CASPD, the athletes' enthusiasm has been palpable, with all united by a common goal. With each dive and stroke, they will give their wholehearted best for the imminent Games.
Their efforts are not only aimed at personal achievement but also to showcase the development and progress of China's sports sector dedicated to the disabled.
