Finnish Film Night fosters China-Finland cinematic exchange in Beijing
Soile Kauranen, deputy head of mission at the Finnish embassy in Beijing, said: "Finland and China share a deep appreciation for cinema, and it is heartening to witness the growing collaboration between our two countries in the film industry."
"Last year, the wonderful Chinese feature film Lost in the Stars was screened in cinemas around Finland, and the Chinese drama series Amidst a Snowstorm of Love was filmed in the Finnish capital city of Helsinki. Tonight's film Death Is a Problem for the Living stands as a testament to the creativity and ingenuity of Finnish filmmakers. With its unique narrative and compelling characters, it not only captivates audiences but also sparks important conversations about the human experience," she said.
The movie night was co-organized by the Finnish embassy in Beijing, production company As One Pictures Co Ltd, and BD Technology and Culture (Beijing) Co Ltd.
