Construction of Beijing Jiahui Intl Hospital set to begin
The launch ceremony for the first phase of construction of Beijing Jiahui International Hospital was held in the Chaoyang campus of Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park in Beijing on Monday.
This will be the second international hospital that Jiahui is opening in China. The first was opened in Shanghai in 2017.
Jiahui also operates many clinics in Chinese cities like Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, and Shenzhen.
"We hope that Beijing Jiahui International Hospital will not only bring full-cycle and high-quality medical and health care to local and expat residents in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, but also promote the cross-innovation and integration of medicine and engineering," said Ge Feng, CEO of Jiahui Health.
"By doing this, we aim to turn it into an innovative and research-oriented hospital that integrates forces from medicine, education, research, and industries."
The hospital complex will span 422,000 square meters and have 500 beds, a one-stop children's center, a surgery department, an ICU, and more than 30 departments, including four clinical centers of excellence - a tumor center, an orthopedic and rehabilitation medicine center, a women's medical center, and a heart and brain center.
The hospital will carry out cooperation with world-class international medical institutions, establish diagnosis and treatment processes and clinical standards of international practice, and realize the use of innovative, imported drugs and medical devices that are needed urgently.
The hospital will also become a pilot medical institution in scientific research and clinical experiments in the fields of artificial intelligence as well as internet plus medical care.
