Italian cuisine to help celebrate the season
Michelin-starred Il Ristorante – Niko Romito at the Bulgari Hotel Beijing launches a series of new dining choices to celebrate the upcoming festive season.
Chef Niko Romito crafts a holiday brunch featuring seafood platters, selected cold cuts and a range of Italian pastas.
On Dec 23 and 24, the restaurant will unveil a lavish six-course festive dinner that infuses traditional Italian culinary techniques with innovation and creativity. The menu features a dish of celery head, warm blue lobster salad, celeriac, mixed greens and pink pepper. The delicate and firm blue lobster is prepared masterfully to retain its freshness, and then paired with crisp celery head, sprouts and pink pepper that add subtle spicy notes to the salad.
Diners can celebrate with the New Year's Eve six-course dinner on Dec 31. One of the courses is king krab, oscietra caviar and potaoes. Seasoned with Russian sturgeon caviar, the multiflavored crab is a showcase of the traditional Mediterranean cuisine presented in an exquisite way.
Romito also curates a festive afternoon tea set that features Italian-style pastries, served delicately in exquisite Italian porcelain and silverware, in time to celebrate the bliss of the winter.
