Linking hearts across China-Maldives Friendship Bridge
Mohammad Yeasin, a Bangladeshi safety officer and project coordinator, comes from the Second Harbor Engineering Co. Ltd of China Communications Construction Co. (CCCC).
He is one of the individuals that contributed to the construction of the China-Maldives Friendship Bridge, a project of the Belt and Road Initiative and symbol of international cooperation and progress.
This bridge has become a piece of essential infrastructure, connecting the Maldives' airport to the capital and boosting trade, tourism, and economic growth.
Yeasin was sent to China to receive an award for his outstanding performance at work during the construction of China-Maldives Friendship Bridge.
"The human behaviors of Chinese people, their hospitality and their country's roads, bridges, flyovers are very amazing," he says.
Armed with newfound knowledge in construction and safety management, Yeasin says "I will continue to work hard for the infrastructure of many countries with the Chinese company."
