Journey of innovation and growth in Shenzhen
Gianluca Giorgi, who comes from Italy, is the vice chair of South China Board of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China and CEO of ES Automation Consulting Ltd. He embarked on an inspirational journey when he first set foot in Shenzhen in 2005.
Located in the middle way between the international harbor of Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland's manufacturing hub, Shenzhen turns out to be a perfect place for innovation.
"Shenzhen gave me a lot of innovativity and innovation," Giorgi says, "the diversity of the mentality, knowledge, and experience has merged together here in Shenzhen."
This diversity inspired Giorgi with new ideas and brought partners to his innovative projects. "If you are able to absorb in innovation and knowledge, you can grow a lot," he says.
Aside from a successful career in Shenzhen, Giorgi also lives a happy life here. "When I came to China, possibly in a previous life I was Chinese. I found one place I’m already familiar with, so I felt quite happy to stay here," he says.
