French biotech manager embraces China's vibrant future
Yannick Benichou, a French biotech manager who has lived in China for 15 years, has witnessed the country's rapid transformation and feels confident about the future of China.
"The biggest two developments I have seen in China over all these years, is the development of infrastructure with highway and high-speed trains, and the internet," says Yannick, a fluent Chinese speaker who got his China green card a few years ago.
Yannick enjoys outdoor activities in Yunnan's diverse landscapes, and has met a lot of friends sharing the same interest through Chinese social media platforms.
Describing Kunming, capital city of Yunnan province, as "the best city in China for living", Yannick says "you can find a lot of things that you have in bigger cities, but you still can enjoy a lot of things that you would normally only have in the countryside."
