French fashion house Dior gave a runway show at Shenzhen's Sea World Culture and Arts Center to reveal its 2023-2024 Autumn-Winter ready-to-wear collection last week.
Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior's creative director for women's wear, made this collection a reinterpretation of the 1950s, exploring the history of Dior and further delving into French style. Through the collection, she pays tribute to three women: Catherine Dior, Edith Piaf and Juliette Greco. The trio shared an independent spirit that subverted feminine stereotypes that were part of the post-war mindset.
