The top priority of China-African cooperation now is to help African countries combat the COVID-19 pandemic and resume economic growth, State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said.
According to Wang, China has provided nearly 120 batches of emergency supplies and sent medical expert teams to 15 African countries.
China hopes to take this year's meeting of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, scheduled to be held in Senegal, as an opportunity to support African countries to win the final victory against the virus, strengthen public health management systems and accelerate industrialization, Wang said.
